Neighbourhood Watch

MIFF continues to champion the cinema of our neighbours to the north as we present newer films and filmmakers from countries as diverse as the Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, China, Singapore and South Korea. With bold new work from MIFF favourites Royston Tan, Hong Sang-soo, Pen-ek Ratanaruang and Jia Zhang-ke, Asian cinema is stronger than ever in 2008.
