Umbrella Retrospective on George Romero
Somewhere between EC Comics and Michael Powell, Orson Welles and the news, political passion and pulp, George A. Romero has crafted himself a unique path in American cinema. Horror is his language, the tool he uses to tell tales about the world around us – with zombies, of course, being his monsters of choice. George A. Romero and his daughter Tina Romero are guests of the Festival.
Programmed by Giulia D’Agnolo Vallan, an Italian film writer and curator living in New York, and the US programmer for the Venice Film Festival. She is a guest of the Festival.
