MIFF 2008 is LAUNCHED! |
| The 2008 Melbourne International Film Festival was officially launched last night at the Grand Ballroom of The Sofitel Melbourne (MIFF's new five star hotel partner). A gathering of media, MIFF partners and MIFF Members witnessed the launching of the 2008 Everyone's a Critic campaign and were given a tantalising taste of the films on offer at this year's festival, which will open on Friday 25 July and will run until Sunday 10 August. 2008 MIFF Opening Night Announced!The Melbourne International Film Festival is excited to announce that Premiere Fund Film, Not Quite Hollywood, will open the 57th Melbourne International Film Festival on Friday 25 July - screening at Hamer Hall and presented by Yarra Trams."To open our festival with a Premiere Fund Film in the first year of its operation is obviously a historic and important moment for us.
