Bran Nue Dae Cracks the $7million at the Box Office

2009_BranNueDaeNews.jpgCongratulations to MIFF Premiere Fund co-financed Bran Nue Dae, which is on track to becoming the highest-grossing Indigenous themed film of all time at the Australian Box Office.

Bran Nue Dae has grossed more than $7 million at the Australian box office, making it currently the 33rd highest grossing Australian film and highest grossing Victorian Indigenous project of all time.

Bran Nue Dae was selected for the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and the 2010 Berlin International Film Festival, and won the Audience Award for Best Feature at MIFF 2009, where it premiered on closing night.
