Industry Programs
The Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) currently runs three industry programmes for filmmakers, distributors, sales agents and financiers:
Accelerator - comprising of presentations, workshops and screenings, Accelerator is a fast-track for invited filmmakers to develop their skills, craft and industry contacts on an international level.
37 South 2008 - July 24th - July 28th at the Forum Theatre and ACMI - Drawing together Australasian producers with national and international financing partners, 37 South is MIFF's co-financing market now in its second year. Deadlines for submissions from Australasian producers has now closed.
The MIFF Premiere Fund - aims to support, through various mechanisms, a number of quality feature-length projects that will have their International premiere at MIFF. The Fund is a strategic minority co-financier of a range of films and is be keen to see diversity on its slate in terms of filmmaking teams and genres of films.
