MIFF's Next Gen program is one of the only events in Australia to present a contemporary, vibrant, intelligent and unique screening program that specifically caters to a younger audience and school students.

Currently in its fourth year and offering a selection of animation, documentary, drama and comedy, the 2010 Next Gen program gives teachers and students the opportunity to experience the wonder of cinema, presented as part of the excitement of one of the largest film events of the southern hemisphere.

From 22 July to 8 August Next Gen once again hits MIFF’s screens, providing an eye-opening, imaginative and fun program of film catering to young people – along with their teachers and families.
